A theater company that makes art accessible and relevant.
Moon Knight certainly has us all gripped, especially with the internet’s Daddy – Oscar Isaac – playing the lead dual roles of Marc Spector and Steven Grant. The Marvel property is a step in uncharted territory for focusing on a lead with Dissociative Identity Disorder, but Isaac plays the characters with the dignity and depth required.
When not suiting up to play the titular superhero tasked with carrying out the will of a literal Egyptian deity, Oscar Isaac sometimes dips his toes back into the theater where he originally honed his skills. One place in particular that you can now find Oscar Isaac and names like Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Frances McDormand, and Moses Ingram (soon to be seen in Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+) is Theater of War.

The organization was created to showcase Greek tragedies re-interpreted to reflect the ills and anxieties of today. Each performance is free and available live on Zoom in reaction to the global pandemic.
There will be a reading tonight of The Education of Corporal John Musgrave tonight featuring Oscar Isaac and David Strathairn, which we HIGHLY recommend.
Will you be giving Theater of War a go? We hope to see you in the wings!
